Zoom Battle of the Bands 2013! Make a band, write some original music, and play! It’s that simple. Compete against other Quinnipiac bands for the grand prize: the opening spot at WQAQ’s Festapalooza in April. Each band has a 10 minute set to prove to the panel of judges that they’re the best band at Quinnipiac. Only one member of the band needs to be a QU student. 3rd place wins $100, 2nd place wins $200, and 1st place wins $300, as well as the chance to open at WQAQ’s Festapalooza in April. Come to the WQAQ Radio Station (2nd Floor Student Center) to find out more and register!

WQAQ sunglasses are in! Come to Battle of the Bands this Saturday, March 3rd, at 6 pm in Burt Kahn to get a pair! It’s free, and you can see all your favorite Quinnipiac bands.

There will be food for students, so come with an appetite for food AND music. We all hope to see you there. The top three acts, as voted on by our pannel of judges, will receive cash prizes: 1st place - $300 2nd place - $200 3rd place - $100

QU Students!

Sign up for this year’s Battle of the Bands. March 3 @ Burt Kahn Court. Any genre, any style, and solo acts as well as bands (only 1 member must be a QU student!).

We’ll have sign-ups and free food, music, and ticket giveaways available at our WQAQ Shindig NEXT THURSDAY! Or you can stop by the station, located @ SC203.
