New EMA! My love for EMA is unabashed, so I was excited to hear the b-side of her “Marked” single that’s just been released. It keeps that layered noise-folk vibe that she completely owns and features a verse from Oakland, CA rapper Mz’Gorjis in a surprising twist. The single for “Marked” will be released on November 21.
Check out this video!! This is a newer band called The Barr Brothers. They have an awesome sound and are very talented musicians. They are a four piece folk band from Quebec but this song in particular is very bluesy and reminds me of the black keys a lot. The drummer in this band is also awesome. Check them out they have a new cd out now!!
